What is Aero Excellence?

Aero Excellence is a global improvement and certification program for companies in the aerospace, space, and defence industry. With support from major OEMs, the programme is set to reduce, if not eliminate the need for multiple evaluations by creating a common set of industry-wide operational excellence standards. It addresses three key areas: Operational Excellence, Environmental Sustainability, and Cybersecurity. Thus, it helps companies work better, become more reliable, reduce risks, and strengthen their position in the global supply chain.

What is measured?

How does it work?

Aero Excellence is an assessment, not an audit.

A universal language recognized by OEMs and the aerospace industry, with the ambition of becoming a global standard (replacing IPCA+ in particular).

A continuous improvement approach designed to support companies in progressing toward Operational Excellence (efficiency, competitiveness, management, performance, etc.).

The scope of an Aero Excellence assessment covers the entire industrial site, unlike product or process audits. → The objective is to coach the site by developing an improvement plan based on an in-depth maturity diagnosis.
